Spike Chunsoft began the Danganronpa 10th anniversary celebrations with an announcement of anniversary edition releases for the mainline games for iOS and Android featuring touchscreen controls, new gallery mode, and more. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc ($15.99) and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair ($15.99) made their way to iOS and Android as premium releases. Both the conversions are excellent and the best way to play both games despite a few issues with the ports. Check out my reviews of them here and here. Today, Spike Chunsoft has finally confirmed that Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony is coming to iOS and Android later this month as Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition featuring the updated interface, gallery mode, touchscreen controls, and more. Watch the original PS4 and PS Vita version trailer here. The biggest problems with the Danganronpa games on iOS and Android so far is lack of controller support and cloud saves. Barring those, I can’t recommend the Anniversary Edition releases enough. Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition launches on May 26th. If you’ve not played a game in the series before, play Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc first. Check out the official website for the mobile ports here and our forum thread for the games here and here. Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony has one of my favourite endings ever and I hope anyone who got into the series recently through the first two ports on mobile, enjoys the conclusion when V3 releases later this month for $15.99 on iOS and Android. Have you played the first two Danganronpa games yet on any platform?
