The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) has named FTX its official cryptocurrency exchange partner, representing Riot’s biggest esports league sponsorship agreement to date.
As part of the seven-year partnership, FTX will present the new Most Improved Player Award and FTX branding has been added to in-game gold across all LCS matches. Financial terms were not disclosed.
North American esports organisation Faze Clan has announced a content partnership with McDonald’s USA that focuses on diversity and inclusion.
Per a release, the team-up is designed to ‘highlight the evolution of diversity within the gaming industry and the work FaZe Clan and McDonald’s are doing to make a lasting impact’.
Korean-American hip hop artist and record label CEO Jay Park, producer duo GroovyRoom, and esports organisation Gen.G have announced a new song titled “ALL IN”, celebrating the Gen.G League of Legends team.
Esports infrastructure company ReKTGlobal has announced a partnership with the Breakaway Music Festival to provide esports lounges to festival sites.
According to the release, the lounges will feature a mixture of ‘solo play, interactive experiences, and performances’.
Tournament hosting and video sharing platform Ultimo.gg, has announced a partnership with EFL Championship football club Birmingham City FC.
As a result of the deal, Ultimo.gg will collaborate with Birmingham City over the course of two years to set up a new esports team for the club as well as host tournaments and boot camps.
