The next TI’s prize pool just keeps getting bigger.
This year has been pretty strange. After COVID-19 pretty much changed the world, the Dota 2 scene is currently in danger. Sadly, Valve’s decision to cancel the DPC has had a negative impact on many smaller teams.
After such a long delay, everyone expected the company to reveal what the plans for the upcoming TI 10 are. However, Valve only released a tweet saying they’re still monitoring the situation, and more news will be forthcoming at a later date.

Although everything else seems to be going downhill, there is one thing that keeps getting better — and that’s TI 10’s prize pool. Even though there are just a few days left until the Battle Pass comes to an end, the prize pool just reached over $35M USD. If there were any doubts, this surely proves TI is the tournament with the highest prize pool in the esports world.
What’s even more interesting is that we’re yet to see the third Arcana. Plus, Valve hasn’t even released the Immortal Treasure III. As you can imagine, this will make a significant impact on the prize pool, which will likely make it even larger.
At the time of publishing, we have ten more days until the Battle Pass is over. Some Reddit users think that it’s very likely the prize pool will reach $40M; because the Arcana and the Immortal Treasure III are going to be pretty fun. Whether or not this will happen is still up in the air because there isn’t that much time left. Nonetheless, if Valve decides to increase the duration of the Battle Pass, we will definitely hit the goal.
Don’t forget to cast your final Arcana vote!
