Could Cletus Kasady, a.k.a. Carnage be the next Marvel character to join Fortnite Battle Royale?

Epic Games never misses the mark when seeking out new characters to add to Fortnite Battle Royale. The list is seemingly endless and includes Master Chief from Halo, Kratos from God of War and countless DC Comics characters, such as Batman, Poison Ivy and Joker. However, no collaboration outranked Marvel Comics, whose partnership with Epic Games dates back to 2018.

The relationship between Epic and Marvel went one step further in Chapter 2 – Season 4, where Marvel’s supervillains and heroes invaded the world of Fortnite. Venom, Dr. Doom, Mystique and Iron Man are just a few characters who appeared in that season’s Battle Pass. The Marvel front went quiet for a bit, but some reasonable rumors surface today, which could indicate another legendary supervillain could be on his way to Fortnite.

Carnage to Appear in Season 7

The reliable Fortnite leaker — ShiinaBR — circulated a rumor on Twitter that seems legitimate. According to one of their sources, Carnage, one of Spider-Man’s arch-nemesis, might become a character outfit in the coming months. With the next installment to the “Venom” film series due out in September, it carries as much merit as anyone could anticipate.

The movie, titled “Venom: Let There Be Carnage,” features Carnage as one of the main characters. Woody Harrellson will depict the villain as another symbiote host, similar to Tom Hardy’s character.

We’ve seen Epic’s uncanny ability to bring Marvel assets into Fortnite, so the inclusion of Carnage would not be surprising. However, it’s important to remember that these are rumors. We’ll be sure to update you further with any additional details.
