Red Bull is continuing to support the esports scene with a new partnership with T1.
Today, T1 announced that they’ve signed a multi-year partnership deal with Red Bull. Both of these brands are household names throughout the world and especially so in the esports scene. This deal showcases another instance of Red Bull’s commitment to the esports space and is monumental considering the prestige of the T1 organization.
Most will know T1 from their incredibly successful League of Legends team. They rose to prominence during the SKT T1 era with Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok leading his teammates to three World Championships. However, their Valorant squad is turning heads around the world, and they have prosperous teams and players in other titles such as Super Smash Bros., PUBG Mobile and Fortnite. Overall T1 is one of the best esports organizations in the world and has fans eclipsing the globe.
On the other hand, Red Bull is most known for its energy drinks but has managed to become a huge part of both the sports and esports worlds. They have influenced a long list of game titles with things like tournaments and events. They’re also partnered with or sponsor many high-profile names, leagues and organizations, notably Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and the North American LCS to name a couple. In addition, they have an impressive performance infrastructure, and as part of this new partnership, will allow T1 to use it, including the Athlete Performance Centers in Austria and Santa Monica.
This is fairly exciting news for the many T1 fans and esports fans in general, as Red Bull’s continued support of the space leads to more good things. It’ll be great to see what these two brands can do together!
